Notes
General:
Mary seems poorly identified. She married James as Mary Cole, but several genealogy files identify her as Mary Snow, without references to a 1st marriage. There was a Mary Snow, born 18 Feb 1705 to Benjamin and Thankful Snow, but she is usually said to have married Robert Pepper on 26 Jul 1732, an unusually late first marriage.
