Jesse Brown and his brother Joseph appeared in Wellfleet records of 1734. Jesse is said to have moved to Gorham, Maine by 1751/2. No probate records have been found for Elizabeth or Jesse in Barnstable County, Massachusetts; or in York or Lincoln Counties, Maine.
This is probably the Jesse Brown mentioned in "Early Narraguagus River Families of Washington County, Maine," 1:62, Lamson & Tibbetts, who eventually settled in Millbridge, Maine. 20
