"Joseph Atwood Snow at the age of 62 died last Thursday at the home of his sister, Mrs. George Howland of Wellfleet after several weeks of illness.
Mr. Snow was a resident of Eastham and a farmer by trade. He was unmarried.
He was born in Wellfleet, the son of the late Isaac Cole Snow and Phoebe Lincoln Snow and had lived the greater part of his life in Eastham.
He is survived by his sisters, Mrs. George Howland, Wellfleet, Mrs. Frank Joseph of Truro, and a brother Alvin Freeman of Provincetown.
Funeral services were held at the Wellfleet Methodist Church Sunday 2 p.m. The Rev. Charles T. Hatch officiated. Interment was made at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery at Wellfleet." 9 Mar 1933, Provincetown Advocate
