Osterville - Jane (Sanford) O’Brien, 55, died Oct. 6, 2007, at her home.
She was the wife of Thomas N. O’Brien Sr. for 25 years.
Mrs. O’Brien was born in Hyannis and raised in Osterville. She graduated from Barnstable High School and Endicott College, earning a degree in interior design.
She worked for Ethan Allen for several years, leaving to raise her family. She later returned to work, most recently at Cottage Home Furnishings in Chatham.
Mrs. O’Brien enjoyed gardening, boating, going to the beach and raising her family.
Besides her husband, survivors include her father, Walter H. "Buster" Sanford Jr. of Osterville; a son, Thomas N.; three daughters, Jaclyn L., Elizabeth L., and Jennifer L., all of Osterville; and a sister, Anne Nawrocki of Bridgewater.
A funeral Mass was celebrated at Our Lady of Assumption Church in Osterville.
Memorial donations may be made to Our Lady of Assumption, St. Vincent De Paul, Wianno Avenue, Osterville, MA 02655; or to Dana Farber Cancer Center, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02115.
