HARWICH - Barbara Mary "Mammie" (Rogers) Clark, 62, died Sept. 17 at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis after a long illness.
Mrs. Clark was born, raised and educated in Orleans and attended Nauset Regional High School. She was a certified nursing assistant for various nursing homes and the Visiting Nurse Association. She also did private-duty nursing.
She was an active member of the United Methodist Church in Harwich and its thrift shop. She loved spending time with her family and enjoyed animals and crafts. She especially liked working with driftwood. She was a friend of Bill W.
Family and friends were the most important thing in her life.
Survivors include two sons, Robbie Clark of Stafford Springs, Conn., and Randy Clark of Harwich; four daughters, Kathy Julin of Dennis, Bonnie Clark of Harwich, Heather Montgomery of Brewster and Tanya Clark of Milford, Conn.; her sister, Kathy LeBrecque of Brewster; eight grandchildren; one great-granddaughter; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation is 4 to 7 p.m. today, Sept. 22, at Nickerson Funeral Home, 77 Eldredge Park Way, Orleans. Memorial donations may be made to United Methodist Church, 1 Church St., East Harwich, MA 02645.
