"Nathaniel, son of Jacob and Mary Remick, lived on the farm in Eliot now [1903] owned by his great grandson, John W. Remick. He was selectman of Kittery many years, proprietor of the towns of Shapleigh and Parsonsfield, and member of the
Committee of Safety in 1775-6. He married, 21 May 1741, Jane Libby. He died 28 June 1783 ; she died 19 March 1784, aged 61.
Their children were :
