General:
In his father's will, Isaac is mentioned as being then (July 1683) under 20 years of age [?]. He lived with his father on the homestead farm at Acushnet (Dartmouth), now covered by the thickly-settled village of Fairhaven, south of the bridge. He is named as one of the Dartmouth proprietors in the confirmatory deed of Gov. Bradford in 1694, having inherited the homestead after the death of his father in 1683. He had a wharf and warehouse at Acushnet. In his will, dated 19 Nov 1734, presented 27 Aug 1736, (FHL 461884 pg 395) he calls himself yeoman of Dartmouth and leaves legacies to all his children except Joanna who is not mentioned. Inventory of his estate valued at 3528 pounds 5 shillings, his house and lands in Dartmouth being 3400 pounds, two cows 22 pounds, lumber 5 pnds 10 shillings, plow, etc 2 pnds 3 sh, saddle 2 pnds and the rest household furnishings.Marriage Notes (Alice Freeman)
