Osterville -- Geraldine E. (Phinney) Medeiros, 97, died Dec. 26, 2007. She was the wife of the late John C. Medeiros.
Mrs. Medeiros owned and operated a boarding house and cottages in Hyannis. She worked at Buttner's Clothing in Hyannis in the mid-1950s and at Wimpy's for many years.
She was president of St. Francis Xavier Guild and Regent of Daughters of Isabell.
She is survived by children J. Craig Medeiros and his wife Barbara J. of Hyannis, Eleanor M. Hostetter, and Paul J. Medeiros and his wife Linda of Gray Gables; grandchildren Daphne L. Bumpus of Osterville, John V. Hostetter of Boxford, Donna M. Medeiros, Kevin J. Medeiros and his wife Helyne, all of Marstons Mills, Marcia M. Cameron and her husband Jeffrey of West Yarmouth, Leslie M. Milsted and her husband Alan of Pocasset, Lynne Freedman and her husband Mark of Gray Gables, Mark D. Medeiros and his wife Kim of Pocasset; great-grandchildren Lorel M. Bumpus of Port Charlotte, Fla., Alysa M. Bumpus of Osterville, Jason V. and Meagan K.
