Grace was widow Dipple of Barnstable when she married Nicholas Baker.
Under Nicholas Baker's will of 1678 Grace received half his dwelling house at Hull, and the lands adjoining Thomas James' lot. Also a swamp at Allerton's hill, a lot on Strawberry hill, a lot at Sagamore hill, a lot upon White head, a lot on Duke's Island, half Nicholas' right to commons in Hull, and all his upland and meadow in Hingham during her life, provided son Samuel, or any of the children at Hull, had liberty of fire wood.
Widow Grace came to Barnstable. At the end of her life she lived for some time with Fear (Robinson) Baker, wife of Grace's step-son Samuel.

There are also claims that his wife Grace was widow of THOMAS HATCH of Barnstable, but his widow had apparently died by 1662. The only wife seen in the records for Ralph Smith is Grace.)
