HARWICH — Muriel F. Nickerson, 81, died Dec. 27 at Cape Cod Hospital.
She was a lifelong resident of Cape Cod. Born in Barnstable, she was the daughter of the late Clifford F. and Lillian (Bearse) Nickerson.
Ms. Nickerson was employed by Osbty Photography for several years when she was younger. She was an active member of Christ Church Episcopal. She loved collie dogs and was an avid knitter.
She is survived by her brother, Clifton A. Nickerson of Harwich Port; her sister, Ellen C. O’Brien of Harwich; one niece and two nephews.
A graveside service was held Jan. 3 at Mount Pleasant Cemetery in Harwich Port.
