No Authentic records of Thomas brown ancestors.
Thomas Brown Nicknamed Dr. Thomas Brown was born Aug 12, 1738, he came from Cape Cod, probably Wellfleete or Eastham, arriving at Vinalhaven, Me in 1767, settling on the land known as City Point, erecting a log cabin on the site of the present Cemetery
His brother Eleziah came with him but left and settled in Portland, Me or in Falmouth which became later Portland, Me.
Dr. Thomas Brown is buried in City Point Cemetery, has a field stone as marker; beside him are two of his wives and a child of Eliziahs who went to Portland. Dr. Thomas was born in 1738 and died in 1825
