"Zerviah Higgins, Daughter of Jonathan, married April 19, 1760, as second wife, David Oliver of Rahway. He died April 1 1766 in his 47th year according to the inscription in old cemetary at Rahway. His will, Dated February 27, 1766, mentions sons David, Samuel, Ichabod and Daughters Jemima Ward (d. May 8. 1768, aged 7), Sarah, and Zerviah. The three sons were rather notorious tories during the Revolution -- see Hatfield pp 469, 476, 509" 25
