"Barnabas C Higgins, 70 years of age, for several years cashier at the Adams house and known in Boston in former days as an oyster dealer and restaurant keepr on Court street. died at his home in Boston on Suday week. Mr. Higgins was born in Wellfleet and went to Boston in 1868 and entered the employ of his cousin, R.R. Higgins, oyster dealer and restaurant keeper on Court street. About fourteen years later he bought out his cousin's interest, and later for ten years he carried on the business himself. In 1892 he sold out, but remained with the firm for a year as manager. He is survived by a wife."
