Lifelong resident of Orleans and Eastham

ORLEANS - Rita Frances (Eldridge) Tracy, 88, died May 23 at Pleasant Bay Nursing Center in Brewster. She was the wife of the late Eliot M. Wetherbee and the late Fay J. Tracy.

Mrs. Tracy was born May 22, 1918 in Eastham, the daughter of Harry and Catherine Eldridge. She lived nearly all her life in Orleans.

She is survived by her nephew, Tim Stone.

Mrs. Tracy was a member of Federated Church of Orleans, having served as a deacon and choir member there for many years. The kindness shown by her friends, the church and the staff at Pleasant Bay Nursing Center is gratefully acknowledged.

A memorial service will be held at Federated Church of Orleans, 182 Main St., East Orleans on June 12 at 2 p.m.

Memorial donations may be made to Snow Library, 67 Main St., Orleans, MA 02653.
