Staten Island
The body of Alonzo C. Ames, an inmate of the Sailors' Snug Harbor, was found in the water in front on the institution yesterday morning. He was not missed Tuesday evening, and it is supposed he fell into the water while walking along the shore. He had been an inmate of the Snug Harbor for three years. He was born in Rockland, Me., and was 48 years old.
