Henry E. Allison
Port Lavaca, TX \emdash Henry E. Allison died in a road accident in Texas July 5, 2010.
Mr. Allison grew up in West Chatham and was in the U.S. Navy. He lived on Cape Cod until February 2008, when he moved to Port Lavaca.
He was a spiritual man and loved his family, donating blood, dark beer, birds, rocks, crystals and the great outdoors.
He was a talented auto mechanic, carpenter, power blaster and house painter.
He is survived by his brother Jay (Mary) Allison of Port Lavaca, sister Ellen (Manuel) Martin of Dennisport, sister Susan Allison of West Chatham and sister Robin Welsh of Chatham.
He is also survived by his sons: Mark Allison (Pam) of Harwich, Robin Allison of Hudson, N.Y., and Kenneth Allison of Chatham; daughters Kerry (Keith) Lynch of Hyannis and Shara Allison of West Chatham.
Mr. Allison was predeceased by his nephew George R. Jones and his mom Anna (Garnett) Allison and dad C. E. Allison.
He followed his own path and had a good heart. When you see an ankh, think of Henry and chant a few Oms with him.
