The record from the Town Clerk in Atkinson, Piscataquis County, shows Elizabeth (Dyer) and Luther Turner living there with their ten children.

Piscataquis Co ME Records. Piscataquis County Court House Records 9 Aug 1828, Joseph Chase Deputy Sheriff sold "to the highest bidder Luther Turner of Atkinson in said county of Penobscot ...one hundred acres, it being the whole of lot numbered twelve ...in the seventh range of lots as surveyed by Andrew Strong Esqr, also one other tract of land in said Atkinson containing twenty nine acres, thirty nine and one sixteenth square rods, being part of lots numbered twelve & thirteen in the sixth range...leading from Turners Mill to Love Hansons...".
