Frances Emma Coon, daug. of George and Louisa Shaw Coon. Born, Feb. 2, 1856, Wheatland, Iowa. Died, Mar. 15, 1926, Oakland, California.
They lived in Pescadero and Oakland, California. Their children: Maud Eola, Arthur Llewellyn, Henry Elias, Harriet Emma, Fred David, William Freeman, Elmore Pringle.
Frederic attended the schools in Perkins, Maine, and went to California about 1869. He sailed around Cape Horn and is known to have been living in Pescadero, California, in 1875. He had a Farm and had a Dairy and Creamery in Pescadero; also, a Cheese Factory and Butcher Shop in Pescadero. In 1892 he moved to San Francisco and was employed in a Lumber Yard there.
