Reference [FC:26} located a division deed (Worcester Co. Registry of Deeds) relative to the estate of Francis Curtis in which the oldest son, W illiam, received no land, having received the sum of £75 previously. Land was set off to Susannah Williams, his daughter. David Burrill and his wife, Ruth, of Glocester, R.I., John Thompson and wife, Sarah, Thomas Truesdell and wife Rhoda, of Monson, Mass., and Mary, single, all received land which they deeded to Francis' son Edward Curtis. Japhet Curtis retained his divison of the land. The widow, Bethia Curtis sold her portion to Jacob Curtis in 1773.
