The marriages were sequentially listed, with a few exceptions. The text
is transcribed as written, except that I didn't reproduce the
superscripts. Most dates were written with superscripted endings (1st,
2d, 3d, 4th, . . .) , Junior was
often written as junr, Junr, jnr, with
a superscripted flourish for the r, and August was sometimes
written as Augst.
Marriages were officiated by the town minister, Rev Isaiah Lewis, from
1730-1785, except as noted.
